Measurement Setup

This measurement setup lives inside the broader Techtile infrastructure. If you want the larger architectural context first, start with Techtile Background.

The measurement rig combines:

• an ultrasonic speaker for the acoustic channel
• an RF UE antenna for the RF channel
• a common mechanical mount so both modalities share the same sampled location

Ground-truth position is provided by the Qualisys system configured in the positioning block of experiment-settings.yaml.

For the reciprocity dataset path in this repository, the active RF aperture is the ceiling group:

• 42 ceiling receiver tiles: A05 through G10
• 1 synchronized pilot transmitter
• 1 separate continuous reference transmitter started by client/run-ref.py

The repository stores one RF summary row per receiver host and per cycle. The processed dataset therefore represents one host per active ceiling tile, not a separate stored row for each physical RF connector.
